"Skyscraper scrapers"

Films: Glass Trap (2005)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of large dogs.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Tell us if you've heard this one before. A bunch of people with different jobs in different living classes come together in a large building, and hijinks ensue. Sound familiar? How about that but with lots of giant insects in it too?

History: An afront to all nature, these radiation-powered ants have somehow found there way into a massive hotel skyscraper, where the pickings are plentiful and the mating can commence. The many people there are trapped, and must fight to survive the arthropod onslaught.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After the survivors are escorted out of the building, it is gassed with radiation, killing the ants for good.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-An army of ravenous, bloodthirsty killer giant ants...undone by a combination of laughable puppets and even worse CGI. Really, it all blends well with the irreverent tone this film has.

Trivia: -This film is known in France simply as "Insects".

-The most aggressive ant ever is the fire ant, which can deliver a painful sting, and has been heading up north for some time after being introduced to America a long time ago. Sort of like killer bees, only not as severe, and they were made by nature, not us.

Who brought the picnic baskets again?!

A healthy reminder that everything is still new to them, even when biggened.
Those ants know where you live, man. They LIVE where you live.

First, they get large. Then, they get reptile DNA in themselves. Life isn't easy.

Ant hangovers are never fun for the insect world.
